Whistler Village Beer Festival
The Whistler Village Beer Festival returns September 16–20, 2026, for its 13th edition. This homegrown craft beer festival brings five days of beer-fuelled fun to Whistler. Expect Oktoberfest celebrations, brewery tastings, après parties, and more. Everything builds to a one-day Main Event at Whistler Olympic Plaza on the Saturday.
The Main Event runs Saturday, September 19, from 12 to 5 PM. It features more than 40 craft beverage manufacturers pouring over 80 varieties of beer, cider, canned cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks. There are also food trucks, games, and live music. General Admission includes access to the event, a sampling mug, and 5 tasting tokens. All Access tickets add express entry, more tokens, a BBQ smokie, bonus swag, and a ticket to the official afterparty.
That afterparty is Longhorn Saloon Oktoberfest, also on September 19, running from 5 PM to 1 AM. Expect authentic Oktoberfest music, German-style beers, and a lively beer hall atmosphere. Your first beer is included. Lederhosen and dirndls are encouraged. Both events are restricted to guests 19 and older.
Beyond the festival, Whistler in the fall offers plenty to fill out a longer stay. Try one of the town’s three craft breweries, play a round of golf, or take the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola up for a beer with a view.
