Jasper’s Halloween Takeover
Jasper transforms for Halloween from October 30 to November 1, 2026. Expect spooky stories, immersive experiences, and late-night vibes throughout town. This is the second year for Jasper’s Halloween Takeover, and more details are coming soon.
The centerpiece is The Astoria Haunted Hotel, running October 30 and 31. Jasper’s historic Astoria Hotel turns haunted for two nights only. Step inside and make your way through rooms where something seems to be waiting behind every door. Encounter strange guests and restless spirits. Follow the clues. Solve the puzzles. Uncover the hotel’s secrets. Family-friendly time slots are available earlier in the evening. Darker, scarier experiences follow later for adults. Tickets and full details are coming soon.
Halloween night also brings Late Night Vibes with the ATHA-B Halloween Howler at the Athabasca Hotel. DJ Poaps spins tracks from 9 PM to 1 AM on October 31. Come in costume — there are prizes for the best ones. There’s no cover charge. This event is 18+.
Beyond the Halloween events, fall in Jasper means golden landscapes and early nightfall. That means more time for stargazing in the world’s largest accessible dark sky preserve.
