Summer and fall are perfect for exploring lakes and waterways by canoe, kayak or paddle board. Golf

Take advantage of the dramatic mountain views from elevated tee decks at the Jasper Park Lodge Golf Club. The 18-hole Stanley Thompson golf course is equally scenic as it is challenging with strategic bunkering, an abundance of trees and natural water hazards that come into play throughout.
Wapakwanis plant walk
Available: April – November
Embark on a fascinating journey and learn about the Plant Medicine World of Jasper National Park. These guided walks are led by Cree Knowledge Keeper, Matricia of Warrior Women. Get a closer look at the food and medicines that the land offers in surprising places. This guided walk is offered most Tuesdays.
Jasper SkyTram
Available: April – October
Soar above the clouds aboard the Jasper Skytram. Gear up and venture out on a snowshoeing expedition at the summit through spring. Or hike the alpine with panoramic mountain views in the peak of summertime. Plus, it’s dog-friendly so you can explore the boardwalk and trails with your four-legged friend.
Rafting & canoeing
Available: May – October
Explore a different side of Jasper National Park by waterway. No Jasper getaway is complete without a canoeing or rafting trip in stunning mountain scenery. Enjoy the thrill of rafting down Sunwapta River (meaning roaring/turbulent water in the Stoney language) or along the Athabasca river. For a gentle voyage, try a float trip—perfect for all ages.
JPL Boathouse
Available: May – October
The Boathouse at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is your gateway to exploring glacier-fed Lac Beauvert and miles of surrounding trails. Rent canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, stand-up paddle boards and other boat rentals by the hour. Or rent mountain bike and children’s bikes by the hour, half-day and full day. Bikes include helmets, locks and trail maps. Registered hotel guests receive a 20% discount on rentals.
horseback Adventures
Available: May – September
Experience Jasper National Park from a whole new point of view. Saddle up and embark on a guided horseback riding adventure. Trot through the forest along the winding Athabasca river towards Lake Annette. Or ascend higher above the valley with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding rocky mountains.
